Biography

• Born March 25, 1970, to a career Air Force NCO and a registered nurse. 
• Received B.A. in Education, May 1992. Graduated from UNC-Law May 2000. 
• Raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina. 
• Member of the Chapel Hill community since 1988-1992 and 1997 to present. Taught in Charlotte public schools 1992-1997.

Attorney at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation,

Directly representing North Carolina Death Row inmates during the final phases of their appeals. 

Teacher at West Mecklenburg High School,

Social Studies teacher at a predominately African-American high school in Charlotte.
