University Relations
Low impact UNC expansion can take place if we take advantage of existing alternative transportation routes to the Horace Williams tract
Pressure on housing costs can be mitigated by requiring UNC to provide housing for its new employees and new students
Requiring neighborhood input on design plans that affect livability at the margins can ease tensions between UNC and adjoining neighborhoods
If elected Mark will:
Work to protect neighborhoods surrounding UNC
Work to ensure adequate buffers between UNC and existing neighborhoods
Take a strong stand for our community?s interests
